Friends of Puerto Rico Selected by NALCAB for Award to Support Access to Federal Funding for Underserved Communities

Puerto Rico — Friends of Puerto Rico has been selected as one of twenty nonprofit organizations to receive a $15,000 award from the National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB) with support from the Truist Foundation. This award is designed to help nonprofits serving Latino communities access federal funding opportunities for support to the businesses and communities they serve. The grant includes a capacity-building program of funding, public policy advocacy, and technical assistance.

With this grant, Friends of Puerto Rico will be better equipped to navigate the federal funding system and help organizations overcome the barriers that many encounter when trying to access capital.
