Friends of Puerto Rico is looking for a Field Operations Manager to manage on-the-ground activities, including workshops, community events, and training sessions, to drive sustainable development and empower communities.     About the Role:

    As the Field Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day execution of a groundbreaking program. Reporting to the President and Chief Program Officer, you will manage logistics, ensure alignment with program goals, and oversee detailed reporting to track success. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team and community partners to bring the program’s vision to life, all while immersing yourself in the vibrant culture and natural beauty of Aguadilla.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Program Execution and Management

    • Implement and oversee workshops, training sessions, and community events to ensure all program activities run smoothly.

    • Coordinate logistics, including scheduling, venue setup, participant outreach, and resource allocation.

    • Monitor program progress, track deliverables, and report on outcomes to ensure alignment with program goals.

    Team Collaboration

    • Work with the Outreach Coordinator, Program Assistant, and Program Coordinator to ensure seamless operations.

    • Facilitate bi-weekly team meetings to track progress, resolve challenges, and maintain alignment.

    Community Engagement

    • Serve as the on-the-ground point of contact for community partners, participants, and stakeholders.

    • Build relationships with local organizations to recruit participants and foster long-term partnerships.

    Operational Excellence

    • Maintain high standards of compliance and documentation to meet program and grant requirements.

    • Collect and analyze data to assess program impact and identify areas for improvement.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Demonstrated experience in program execution, logistics management, or operations coordination.

    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

    • Passion for community development and the ability to inspire and work collaboratively with others.

    • Fluency in English and Spanish is required; experience with compliance and federal grant reporting is a plus.
