Friends of Puerto Rico is looking for a Field Operations Manager to manage on-the-ground activities, including workshops, community events, and training sessions, to drive sustainable development and empower communities. About the Role:
As the Field Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day execution of a groundbreaking program. Reporting to the President and Chief Program Officer, you will manage logistics, ensure alignment with program goals, and oversee detailed reporting to track success. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team and community partners to bring the program’s vision to life, all while immersing yourself in the vibrant culture and natural beauty of Aguadilla.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Execution and Management
Implement and oversee workshops, training sessions, and community events to ensure all program activities run smoothly.
Coordinate logistics, including scheduling, venue setup, participant outreach, and resource allocation.
Monitor program progress, track deliverables, and report on outcomes to ensure alignment with program goals.
Team Collaboration
Work with the Outreach Coordinator, Program Assistant, and Program Coordinator to ensure seamless operations.
Facilitate bi-weekly team meetings to track progress, resolve challenges, and maintain alignment.
Community Engagement
Serve as the on-the-ground point of contact for community partners, participants, and stakeholders.
Build relationships with local organizations to recruit participants and foster long-term partnerships.
Operational Excellence
Maintain high standards of compliance and documentation to meet program and grant requirements.
Collect and analyze data to assess program impact and identify areas for improvement.

What We’re Looking For:
Demonstrated experience in program execution, logistics management, or operations coordination.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Passion for community development and the ability to inspire and work collaboratively with others.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required; experience with compliance and federal grant reporting is a plus.
