The Boricuas of Comedy

On November 14, Friends of Puerto Rico gathered for a night of comedy and delicious Cafe Ama Love, at the inaugural Boricuas of Comedy Fundraiser at Joe's Bar in Chicago. Comedians Ana Belaval, Anthony Fuentes, and Jesnaira Baez infused the room with laughter with a purpose. The palpable energy from the audience combined with an enticing silent auction, and savory Borinken Cakes made for a successful event! “We are grateful for the partnership with the Mikey O Show,” stated our Partnerships Director, Griselda Garibay.
Thank you to all our donors, and in particular to our kind sponsors, The Biazar Group, Prodigy Teks, L&MC Investments, LAM Property Consultants and the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture. All proceeds raised will fund scholarships for youth in Puerto Rico through our SEEDS Program, a STEM-based entrepreneurship program.
