Speed ​​networking event seeks to strengthen the Aguadilla business ecosystem

The Aguadilla Business Center invites you to its Open House activity, where connections between like-minded professionals will be fostered, various valuable tools will be explored, and the importance of creating a business community will be discussed.

  • The main speaker will be Miguel Joey Avilés, renowned Diversity and Inclusion coach and expert in corporate culture optimization.

AGUADILLA, PUERTO RICO – The Aguadilla Business Center (ABC) keeps alive its commitment to strengthening entrepreneurship and economic development locally in the New Year. To this end, the entity will hold an "Open House", where connections between like-minded professionals will be fostered, various valuable tools will be explored, and the importance of creating a commercial community will be discussed. The event will also feature a special presentation by the renowned speaker and coach, Miguel Joey Avilés. The Open House will take place on January 25, starting at 4:30 p.m., at the ABC facilities in Aguadilla. Registration is open at abcopenhouse.eventbrite.com ($5.00 donation required).

This Open House fulfills our mission to strengthen the business community and provide opportunities for growth and professional development to entrepreneurs and businessmen in the area. The meeting helps strengthen business connections. It is also an opportunity to learn about different perspectives and develop lasting personal relationships,” said Angelique Sina, president of Friends of Puerto Rico, a non-governmental entity (NGO) custodian of the Aguadilla Business Center.

As part of the event's agenda, Miguel Joey Avilés will offer a speed networking session. Joey Aviles' career as a company culture consultant, coach, and motivational speaker boasts a long list of accolades and recognitions, including: one of Diversity Global Magazine's Top 15 Diversity Champions of 2021; one of the top 100 executive leaders by Diversity MBA magazine; and noted as an Inclusion Innovator by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). In addition, he is the former Head of Diversity and Inclusion for an organization of 88,000 people and has held important professional roles in the federal Department of Defense, the federal Department of the Interior, and the Department of Homeland Security.

The Aguadilla Business Center is an entrepreneurship center that seeks to establish a business ecosystem in the area. As an entity dedicated to economic development, it promotes its mission through business initiatives with efforts that will result in the education and development of future entrepreneurs.

Since 2015, Friends of Puerto Rico has supported the economic development of Puerto Rico through business initiatives, education, and the creation of opportunities for all, with a focus on women and girls. They have mobilized a passionate community of more than 30,000 entrepreneurs, donors, and partner organizations from around the world focused on driving economic success and innovation to cultivate the next generation of leaders.
